About us
Probiketrader is a trading name of SGR Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15317148). Our address is Unit 1A, Alexandra Place, Lower Park Road, London N11 1QD. Contact us at sales@probiketrader.co.uk or 020 8798 2099.
These terms apply when you use our website, buy from us, or sell or part-exchange a bike with us. By placing an order or submitting a bike, you agree to them. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Our bikes
- Our bikes are pre-owned unless stated otherwise. Each one is inspected and serviced before sale.
- We describe and photograph each bike as accurately as we can. Light cosmetic marks consistent with the description are not defects.
- Colours and details may look slightly different on your screen.
- Coming Soon bikes are on their way to us and not yet inspected. The price shown is our expected price. If a Coming Soon bike doesn't arrive, or isn't as described once we've inspected it, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Many of our bikes are sold under the VAT margin scheme, so VAT is not shown separately on your receipt.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
- If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can cancel for a full refund.
Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a bike is damaged before dispatch or we can't verify payment. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
Delivery, collection and returns
Delivery and collection are covered by our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, returns and faulty bikes are covered by our Refund & Returns Policy. Our 3-month quality guarantee and the optional 12-month extension are explained on our Warranty page.
Viewings and test rides
Viewings are by appointment at our North London unit. Test rides are at our discretion, and we may ask for photo ID and a deposit or card details first. Please wear a helmet. You ride at your own risk, except where we are at fault.
Selling or part-exchanging a bike to us
- Online offers are based on the details and photos you give us. They're confirmed only after we inspect the bike.
- If the bike's condition or spec differs from what you told us, we may change or withdraw our offer.
- You confirm the bike is yours to sell, isn't stolen, and has no finance or other debts against it. We check bikes against stolen-bike databases and may ask for proof of ownership and ID.
- Part-exchange values apply to the bike agreed with you at the time, and are valid for 7 days unless we agree otherwise.
- We pay by bank transfer once the bike has passed inspection.
Our liability
- We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.
- We're not responsible for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for business losses.
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid, except where the law doesn't allow a limit.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Your information
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order or submit your bike is the one that applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
