Best Offer Policy
At Pro Bike Trader, we want to be fair and flexible. We work hard to keep our costs low so we can offer great prices from the start. Most of our bikes are already priced very competitively, so in many cases, the listed price is the price we expect.
That said, if a bike has been with us for a little while, we’re happy to consider sensible offers.
A Few Things to Know
High-in-demand bikes
If a bike gets a lot of interest straight after we list it — with lots of views and enquiries — we consider it high-in-demand, and we won’t usually accept offers.
Fair offers only
As an example, if a bike is listed at £2,500, we won’t accept £1,600, £1,700, or £2,000. But if it’s been with us for a while, we might consider something closer — for example £2,350 or £2,400.
Part exchanges
We’re careful about what we buy, as we like to keep our stock small and well-selected. If your bike fits our buying criteria, we’ll make a fair offer, usually a little higher than our normal cash price. If it doesn’t, we’ll happily share it with one of our trusted partners for an offer.
Hassle-Free Sale
If we accept your offer, we’ll keep the process simple and straightforward:
- Online purchases: We can post or hand-deliver your bike.
- In-person purchases: If you come to view the bike, you can test ride it. We expect best offers buyers to be understanding of our time.
- Adjustments & upgrades: Any adjustments or upgrades will be charged at trade workshop pricing. We don’t make a profit on this — you only pay what it costs us.
- Warranty & services: Accepted offers don’t include our standard warranty or added after-sales services.
- Cycle-to-Work & payments: We generally don’t accept offers on Cycle-to-Work scheme purchases. We accept all major cards, including American Express.
What’s Behind Our Pricing
When you buy from us, you’re buying from a safe, VAT-registered business. Every bike is fully serviced before sale, and you have the peace of mind of dealing with a professional team — not a unknown marketplace seller.
Why We’re Different
We’re a small business and like to keep our stock focused and carefully chosen. Usually, we have around 30–40 bikes at any time. This means we can give each bike the attention it deserves and offer fair, competitive pricing.
