12-Month Warranty, Included as Standard for C2W

Every bike purchased through a Cycle to Work scheme at ProBikeTrader comes with our 12-Month Total Extended Protection Plan included at no extra cost.

Normally an optional upgrade (£200 depending on bike value), this extended cover is automatically applied to all Cycle to Work purchases — on top of the tax and National Insurance savings from salary sacrifice.

What's Covered

Frameset and Components: Protection against mechanical or electrical faults arising from defects in materials or workmanship, for a full 12 months from your purchase date.

Performance Issues: We address significant performance issues that impair the bike's primary functions (e.g. persistent gear problems, brake pressure loss).

What's Not Covered

As with our standard protection plans, this does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (tyres, brake pads, chains, minor cosmetic marks)

Damage from impact, accidents, crashes, or misuse

Punctures

Modifications or repairs not carried out by ProBikeTrader or a PBT Authorised Bicycle Shop

Neglect or improper maintenance

Components still under an active manufacturer's warranty (which takes precedence for that part)

Making a Claim

Contact us with details of the issue and proof of purchase.

Assessment — we'll assess your claim, which may require bringing the bike in for inspection.

Resolution — if covered, we'll arrange repair or replacement at our cost. For customers outside London, we'll arrange the work through a trusted local bike shop.
