Vintage Road Frame - Flying Scot 58cm Campagnolo - Grade B

Description

This is collectors stock, so older items like this, we sometimes cannot vertify the origin as many of the old frame builders are no longer operating. We think this is a 1973 Campagnolo Flying Scot, which correlated with the serial Number, 
Here is some information on the serial numbers from the flying scot website. 
'Alphanumeric serial numbers were introduced in 1949 (for example 250Q), initially using a single letter code rather than a number for the calendar year. For the first two years (1949/1950) the letters 'Q' & 'R' were used, followed by the letter 'A' in 1951.

As before, the first part identifies the sequential number of the frame as it was built that year. The first frame built was given the number 1, the second frame number 2, the third 3 and so on until the end of the year.
The second part of the number was changed and instead of two digits representing the calendar year in which the frame was made, a letter code was introduced.
The example '250Q' would therefore be the 250th frame built in 1949 (the letter Q, being the year code for 1949). See the the list below for interpreting the letter codes.'
According to the seller, The frame was professionally painted, we think the paint job is good but not high end custom. But the colour scheme is magnificent and it's a real head turner. 
Overall, this will be a great frame for a good campagnolo groupset for a nostalgic build :) 

Stem is included in sale - it has not seized.

May have minimal marks/scratching.

Full Mechanical Order/ Slightly Worn, but plenty of life left

Item that has been used and will have a small number of cosmetic blemishes but is in full functional order.

Marked as Grade B as the frame is mechanically great, no dents or dings and with the repaint, it will make a fabulous bike build.
