The Alfine 8 speed internal gear hub runs on needle bearings for increased durability and high drive efficiency.
The Shimano Alfine DH-S501 dynamo hub is a front wheel hub that has the ability to power a front light or other dynamo-powered bike appliance. It can generate up to 3W (6 volt) of power, that can generate power to run compatible LED lights, USB chargers and other devices.
