Description
The cyclocross version of the Cad3 is getting harder and harder to find these days and they are a really cool bike. A retro frame that will make a great gravel/cyclocross/city bike with rack mounting points and lots of tyre clearance with a 700c wheel.
Unfortunately, this frame has a broken right hand side cable stop mounting bolt on the down tube which make riding with a right hand shifter quick hard. A 1X set up with a right hand shifter run down the left side of the downtube could be achieved or a single speed set up would work great.
Condition: Spares & Repairs
This frame has been used and has a few scratches and chips. There are a few spots of corrosion under the frame but there are not cracks or dents.
Unfortunately the cable stop bolt on the right hand side of the down tube is cracked which makes using a right hand shifter quite hard. A cable stop was fitted to the bolt when we received it but we would not recommend using it in the future. The left hand cable stop bolt is in good condition so a single speed or a 1x set up with some inventive cable routing could be achieved.
